Merchandise Planner - Amsterdam

About the role

Are you an organized, analytical professional with a love for fashion and a knack for structure?

As Ready-to-Wear Merchandise Planner, you’ll make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly — from keeping stock levels healthy to supporting sales teams with the newest collections. You’re the bridge between creative vision and operational precision.

You’ll be in touch with clients to make sure orders are processed correctly, coordinate replenishments with Purchasing, Logistics and Production, and ensure the warehouse is always ready for demand. Your insights will also contribute to improving internal systems — including future e-commerce developments.

What you’ll do

• Manage Ready-to-Wear stock (up to €1 million in value) and monitor stock levels and replenishments.

• Communicate closely with clients to facilitate their sales process and ensure orders are delivered correctly.

• Support sales and buying teams with the finalization of collections and creation of POS materials.

• Coordinate procurement of incoming garments and keep all departments aligned on timelines and capacities.

• Maintain product information in internal systems (updating data, adding new products, monitoring accuracy).

• Share insights and collaborate with IT teams to further develop systems that support company growth and efficiency.

• Work cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics to keep operations running smoothly.

Who you are

You’re someone who enjoys connecting dots and keeping things organized while working in a creative environment. You have:

• A Bachelor’s degree and experience in merchandising, planning, or allocation.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills. You can maintain a helicopter view while diving into details.

• Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Index-Match) and BI tooling.

• A proactive, commercial mindset and strong communication skills in English.

• Affinity with fashion and a drive to improve processes.
